The Lotus Festival
Bloomington, Indiana is home to an extraordinary world music festival: the Lotus Festival. Over the years virtuoso accordionists who bring their talent, charisma, and passion have been an integral feature of the musical offerings. An annual extravaganza of concerts, accompanying workshops, and visual artwork enriches our community each year in the fall. Lee Williams, the founder of the Lotus Festival, has been the groundbreaker responsible for raising awareness of the vitality and value of world music from afar. The 13th annual Lotus World Music & Arts Festival will take place October 5-8, 2006.
